There has been a church in our village for more than 900 years.  During all that time, it has been  the focal point of village life.  That tradition is continued not only through church services, such as Sunday services, baptisms, weddings and funerals, but a wide range of other activities that make life in Wateringbury so worthwhile.

Good examples of these activities that support and are supported by the Church are the Guides and Scouts, Cubs and Brownies, the Easter Project, our Fair Trade stall, the History Society, Mothers’ Union, the Wateringbury Players, and many more groups.  The church also caters to the spiritual needs of the elderly in the Abbeyfield Kent Society, Greensted.
